The mainstream aspect ratio of the TFT LCD panel in the market is 4:3 or 16:9. But for some applications, a bar type shape or "letterbox" format of display panel would be more suitable for the application to display the required information. Winstar Bar Type TFT-LCD displays are perfect for industrial equipment, automotive applications, server system, POS system, dynamic information displays and advertising displays. We offer a choice of TFT (Stretched Bar LCD Display) with sizes ranging from 2.9 inch to 8.8 inch.
The wide aspect ratio “Letterbox” or “Bar” format brings TFT to a wider range of industrial applications. The 5.2” WF52 is mechanically compatible with the WG24064 graphic LCD range, with common mounting holes and many common pins for a quick upgrade. Other Bar TFT sizes are available and more are on the roadmap. The WF39A series is a 3.9” diagonal 480 x 128 pixel resolution TFT with just 40.64mm height, making it ideal for inclusion in 1U rack systems.
WF88BTYA8MNG10 is an 8.8" bar-type TFT-LCD module designed for horizontal display applications requiring long-format layouts. It has a resolution of 480×1920 pixels with a 1:4 aspect ratio, suitable for control panels, list-based content, and information displays.
Using IPS technology, the module provides 85°/85°/85°/85° (L/R/U/D) wide viewing angles with stable color reproduction. An integrated projected capacitive touch panel (PCAP) with optical bonding is included.
The display is driven by the OTA7290N IC via a 4-lane MIPI DSI interface for reliable high-speed data transmission.
