Winstar Chip-On-Glass (COG) monochrome displays are available in both character and graphics formats. Graphic types are available in resolutions of 128x64 to 320x240 and character types include16x2, 20x2, 20x4, 24x2 formats with 5x8 dot matrix.
The COG package offers high quality with the benefits of light weight, and low power consumption. In addition a connection board may be added to change the interface from FPC to pins or cables. We can offer a variety of pin out connections to suit your requirements. The COG LCM technology is suitable for applications that demand a compact package display solution.

Chip-On-Glass (COG) Displays have the driver chip  bonded directly to the glass where it is possible to connect many more common and segment lines to the LCD than with conventional heat seal or zebra strip technology. This allows for a more compact design, offering the benefit of both weight and size savings. Our range of COG displays are available with a choice of backlight colours. Custom and Semi-Custom COG solutions are also available, please contact our office for further details.
